Aug. 21st, 2005 03:57 pmBeen watching the new season of Battlestar Galactica and while I'm only up to episode 4 so far, I'm enjoying it. Season 1 was a tough act to follow, obviously a little too tough, so the pacing isn't as good but the overall performances are still excellent.
I was interested to see that Adama's first question in response to Tigh's confession he'd messed up (and don't you just want to push Ellen Tigh out of the nearest airlock?) was not "what have you done to my ship?" but "where's my son?". That's a sign of how far things have come since season 1 for Adama and Apollo, despite the recent split between them over Roslin. But I continue to love Baltar best, the conniving little weasel. ;)
I kept wondering just where I'd seen the white-haired guy who was playing the doctor as well, and it finally came to me - in the finest Vancouver-based television tradition of only having half a dozen actors who appear in everything, he's one of the detectives on Da Vinci's Inquest which I've been watching recently (now sadly on hiatus for a couple of weeks).
