My TV habits, in case anyone is interested

It's a little bizarre, really. When I got Sky, I assumed that Sky One would be the channel I'd watch the most and for a little while that was the case, at least until their endless re-runs of the various Star Trek incarnations and every single episode of Stargate SG-1 and Buffy took over the programming.

There are shows Sky has the rights to that I would dearly love to see from the beginning (the ever-so-cheesy Relic Hunter being one of them) but the shows they are re-running must surely be due for a rest?

BTW, I'm sure someone at last year's connotations con mentioned Fastlane - if that's anyone on my friends list, Sky One is re-running the series from episode 1 in the early hours of August 16th.

Imagine my surprise when a recent survey of what I'm currently watching on Digiguide (which I cannot recommend highly enough if you're like me and forget to watch stuff) showed that the majority of programmes I currently have tagged are on Living (Boston Legal, Da Vinci's Inquest and season 5 of CSI, which used to clash with something else I was watching so I missed the later eps) and ITV3 (Peacemakers, the US version of Touching Evil, with Numb3rs due there in October, I believe).

The only exception to that is Wonderfalls, which apparently didn't do much for Sky since it's now been consigned to the outer darkness that is Sky Mix and a midnight slot on Sky One. And Lost, which starts on Channel 4 this Wednesday. I'm in two minds about season 3 of Without a Trace, which is also due on 4 soon, because the first ep apparently starts off with Martin in bed with Samantha... yeuch. Let me know when that particular horror is ended, 'kay? ;)

Season 3 only goes downhill from there, if you can believe it. I didn't actually mind seeing Eric's naked back getting all writhy, as long as I could pretend it wasn't *her* underneath.

But then they tried to have a "relationship" that was filled with secrecy, resentment, and odd looks. And then it got ugly. The ugliness doesn't end until the last episode of the season. Totally ruined this show for me, not to mention the fact that Season 3 mysteries were not even *close* to the cleverness in writing from the previous seasons. //shakes head sadly//

On a happy note, LOST is appointment TV for me. ;-)

That sucks. I can't believe they keep whoring out the actors in these tired old ship scenarios, but in this case maybe it *is* due to lack of imagination?

It's Danny/Martin all the way for me, baby!

And I've already seen Lost, thanks to the wonders of illegal downloads, so I'm looking forward to watching it all again knowing as I do what happens later on. ;)
