I find it very entertaining that pretty much everyone on my friends list here is saying the same thing about the same aspect of the book... ;)

And boy, it's hot and sticky tonight, isn't it? The weather forecast thing says it's currently 66 degrees here and 64% humidity and I can believe it. *fans herself*

OMG you english are such weaklings.

Try days and days of 90 degree heat and 80% humidity, and nights when it doesn't go below 80. It's going to be 93 tomorrow!

Yep, but remember we don't do this kind of weather. It's been sunny here for days and days and this is completely out of character for an English summer.

It was 103 here yesterday. And probably about 90% humidity. The air conditioning just curls up and whimpers.

Folks in the hot places just don't realise we're not built to cope with the heat -- ourselves or our buildings. No air conditioning for us even when it hits the high 80s and the humidity joins in. :-(
