1. What is your favorite action movie?

I'm a big fan of movies like Grosse Pointe Blank, but my favourite is probably still Hero just because it's so beautiful.

2. What is the worst movie you've ever seen?

When I was a student, the people I shared a house with used to take it in turns to choose the movie we'd all go to, so one evening I was dragged to see Flowers in the Attic. Awful awful movie.

3. Do you prefer comedy or drama?

Depends on the comedy, because good comedy is much harder to do well. If we're talking Withnail & I or The Big Lebowski or even Harvey then that's one thing, but if we're talking Jerry Lewis movies that's something else altogether. ;)

4. Recommend a good tear jerker:

Not my kind of movie, so I'll give this one a miss...

5. What movie are you looking forward to seeing soon?

Kung Fu Hustle (this weekend!), Howl's Moving Castle, the new Narnia movie and of course Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire. :)

It probably won't be as good as the book (which is fantastic and you ought to track it down!) but it's Miyazaki. I feel like I've been waiting years!

I've only watched one of those so far and it's kind of short, so a bit disappointing. ;)

Actually, one of the ones I picked up at MediaWest (the delightfully titled How the West Was Hung) was much better, so that just goes to show something or other...
