The sun is out. So naturally, those Brits who aren't cowering and going 'what's that bright light in the sky?' are shedding their clothes with ill-considered abandon, exposing their pasty white bodies to the unexpected warmth. After all, it is May, so who would expect it to be sunny? ;)

Some people might say I'm not one to talk - my Anglo-Irish heritage has rendered me pale and blond (but not Scandinavian blond, with their tendency to tan, alas), so that by the time summer rolls around and the clothing starts coming off, the only colour on my body is the freckles on my arms. But these people are practically luminescent!
