Yep, I've deliberately chosen fandoms that have a reasonably large cast of characters rather than a couple of main ones and their supporting cast (and because as much as I'd like to self-identify heavily with Illya Kuryakin, I'm not sure if that would be a good thing or not!).

I can't do all of them because I still haven't seen OAT or Lost but
1 Would have to be either Hammond or Jacob - the wise heads who sort out the mess and keep everyone else on track. On balance Jacob because he gets actively involved not stuck behind the desk

2. The Maggie Smith character - Professor er. Always apparently even-handed but still supports her causes. And she does know her subject thoroughly.

3. Mag7 would be Nathan the healer and fighter for justice.

1) Jack - I think you know what you think, you don't have a problem saying it, and don't mind running your own missions, though you don't want to run the whole show. And you're not dumb enough to start a relationship with Sam.

2) Boone - Despite the fact that there are a lot of recurring characters on this show, I find it hard to assign you to one. Your mouth is all Sawyer, but I don't see you as that amoral (Harry-worship aside). Boone is basically a good person who works hard, trys to save who he can, and no longer puts up with co-dependency. He also showed a streak of reactionary leftism, which wouldn't be unsuitable, afaik.

3) Snape - without the sociopathic tendencies. If I had to type you, I'd say you're NT, and Snape is archtypal NT. You know what you know, you have no time for BS, and you're goal-oriented. You're also very sarcastic, and woe betide the individual who runs afoul of you.

4) No power on this earth can get me into Mag7.

5) I've never seen OAT.

Yeah, only after I posted this did I find out that Boone got whacked in the most recent ep. I have "deus ex machina" and "do no harm" on tape, but I haven't watched them yet.

I don't think Sawyer is as amoral as he'd like everyone to think... other than that, I'd say I very much find myself empathising with the lovely Professor Snape.
