Anyway, went to the local shops to get milk and see if the pet-cum-DIY shop had ferret food (which it did, and there was much rejoicing!) and next to the till in the little Co-op supermarket were... creme eggs.
In December.
And the woman serving me, when I commented on it, said they arrived 2 weeks before Christmas.
