Dear rivier and blktauna, I saw this and thought of you... ;)

E.T.A. am currently amused by reading an obviously unBrit-picked HP story which has Remus working at McD's in Glasgow with people who actually speak in complete sentences, and where he has found a pet shop where they not only sell pedigree dogs in the window but also where the owner plans to offer him £9 an hour starting salary.

I don't think people at McD's in the US speak in complete sentences, either. Unless, of course, you consider "Welcome to *bzzzzt crackle* may I take your *static*?" or "Do you want *bzzzzzt* that?" or "That'll be *crackle, static, crackle* thank you drive through," complete sentences. ;)

Hee! Too funny. I don't read much HP -- only laugh at the bad ones friends point out to me -- but I believe the common possession of guns and people getting bankrupted by the NHS are among my faves.
