And I'm with you on the utter lack of appeal of Angel as well. I just watched both of them for the lovely British boys in glasses; it was all about Giles and Wesley. Mmm-hmm.
I liked Giles, but I didn't *like* Giles anything like as much as I like Wes, King of Angst. And the fact he looks so lovely dishevelled doesn't have anything to do with that, no sir. ;)
