I was sold until you mentioned the tarantulas - ok, I'm still sold despite the tarantulas.
Also that flight viA Madrid - I totally empathise. We flew to Peru via Madrid and it was a nightmare. They changed the gate on us in Madrid so many times we actually ended up in line for a flight to Boston by mistake. There must be other better routes to South America.
