It's really happening...

I've been having a bit of a minor freak-out the past few days because I am off to Uzbekistan early next month and my visa hadn't arrived. And today it did!

I can haz holiday to crazy place most people haven't heard of! \o/

In other news, erm... well, that's about it really. Work is fine, I'm fine, Buzz is fine. It seems really odd not to be getting ready for MW, which has been such a staple of my yearly routine for so very long, but Uzbekistan! :)

Will miss the MW-bound folks though, so must make some kind of effort to get in touch - I could be persuaded to be on AIM at some point, though I guess probably that weekend isn't too good an idea. Another time, maybe?

And now to put my feet up and drink some beer, as it's the weekend. Hope it's a good one for all you folks out there in LJ-land!

I'm glad the visa came. I swear, they figure out when your trip is taking place, and mail it ten days before.

I'll miss you at MW! (But honestly, if I had a choice betwee Michigan and Uzbekistan...well, the plane trip might be longer, but the sights would be much more interesting!)
