obelix and I got into lovely Lansing about 5pm yesterday evening and then I got hit by a massive dose of jetlag, to the point where I was sitting slumped and semi-incoherent against the hotel room wall a couple of hours later when kitt arrived. Normally I can get the jetlag dealt with by just staying up and then getting into a normal routine in keeping with my new timezone but for some reason that didn't work this time around...
Having consumed about a pint and a bit of coffee and a honey cruller (yes, they just magically appear by my bedside, it's great!) I am now starting to wake up properly. Looking forward to catching up with everyone here, having seen the amount of 'I'm on my way!' type postings appearing on my friendslist for the last little while.
Alas, no door decoration this time around as nothing really grabbed me - I had a variety of ideas but none of them were interesting enough to keep my goldfish attention. Meh.
The abiding question remains this one, though: how did it get to be MediaWest time again, already?
