Midway through January...

So, how's things with you folks, my fine friendslist? ;)
First off, in case anyone was wondering exactly why I (and a number of my friends) slash the 1960's show Wild Wild West, may I refer you over to this particular vid which may have saved me the trouble of doing one myself for pimping purposes in October.
Despite the second Ice Age hitting the UK, I was able to get to work every day. Not as bad as the previous winter, where I got snowed in for 2 days and couldn't go to work - however, it's much harder to justify when you have a 10 mile commute as opposed to a 45 mile one. On the positive side, I'm still feeling like moving jobs was the right decision to make and my judgement also got a boost when B, whose contract we didn't renew in December, applied for another job with us and didn't get picked up again (in interviews by another manager).
I need to do a books post as well, though the backlog to my blog over on Vox is quite terrifying, as it's been a couple of months since the Amazon conduit got fixed and I posted anything there. Really must try and catch up with myself.
