Having named endless amounts of puppies over the years I've found that some leap out at you and just seem to suit and other can take a while before the right name fits them.
Mind you, I foolishly let the kids name Holly's litter after Dog the Bounty Hunter and we ended up keeping one, which was Bounty. Everyone thinks she's named after a chocolate bar or they call her Bouncy, LOL. Could have been worse though, we could have kept Justin!
We had a cockerel and three chickens once, they were Angel, Buffy, Darla an Drusilla. Angel was perfect, he turned into Angelus and had to go, he would fly at you with his legs in the air and attack you as soon as you went into the garden. Probably the most apt name we've ever come up with!
