I tend to keep work and the rest of my life very separate, to the extent that nobody at work knows what kind of things I get up to in my private life - I think I've commented to some people that I'd have less difficulties being gay at work than writing gay pr0n, so I just don't talk about being a fan.

Hence some subterfuge going on at the moment. Essentially, everyone at work thinks I'm spending a week in Toronto (visiting friends, hello

przed!) and then travelling to Nova Scotia on an unspecified date. The majority of what they know is that I was going to Toronto on the 18th and get back to work on June 9th.

I don't tend to email work much, but ended up promising that I would reassure them I had arrived okay (email on Sunday with attached photo of the view from my hotel room window including the CN tower) and have just emailed from Lansing telling them I spent the day at a museum and then went with my friend to a nice vegan restaurant, complete with photo of something I saw in the museum. Heh. Well, I did go to the restaurant and I did go to the museum, just not yesterday!

obelix says she will never trust me again, but she's in the next bed so she ought to be careful... Mwahahaha!
