After enthusing for weeks about Life - yes, I probably will shut up about it at some point, but if you haven't watched it, why not? - I was pleased to hear this week that after more episodes were ordered a while back, it's now been picked up for a full season! :)

Also, Dexter? Just gets better and better. I seriously didn't see that particular twist coming...

I've been going on about it, I know, but it's quirky in a good way and I can't always see how it's going to work out (always a plus point for me where tv shows are concerned) - it also gets kudos from me because they haven't laboured the romance side of things so far and the female characters are characters who just happen to be women, not caricatures.

I maybe poking in Life's direction, the wga strike might leave time for it (meaning, if it goes on, no new stuff of what I'm already watching, ergo time to catch up with other shows!)

Good female characters are, indeed, SO rare.

Oh, great news about Life. I've been watching that, and of all the new shows, I really like it--just as a show. I like the main actor and adore Adam Arkin, but it's not like other shows where I'm watching just because an actor is cute or something. *g*
