If I wrote copy for spam email, I'm pretty sure I wouldn't think it particularly appealing to send out one with the title "IMPORTANT INFO ABOUT YOUR COLON"...

In other news, my voice is almost back. I started coughing my lungs up on Sunday afternoon, my voice broke midway through Monday and disappeared completely for work on Tuesday. As you can imagine, much amusement has been had by all and sundry.

Oh, and I'm hoping to go and see 'Master and Commander' on Saturday. So now is probably a good time to pimp some excellent Aubrey/Maturin I came across earlier in the week:

The Undiscovered Ocean, by shalott.

Yes, M&C! Sorry I didn't get back to you earlier. Had a touch of what I now know (from my Project Management course) I can call Scope Creep.

Let us Conspire.

And hey, don't work too hard on getting the voice back. That way, I don't get any tiresome arguments about who's the sexiest Canadian actor.

What's to discuss, unless your tastes run to hyperactive shortarses... oh, hey!

Anyway, usual time and usual place? And will I recognise you with the Big Hair? ;)

The Odeon in Broad Street has it - 138 minutes of slashy goodness! ;)

Usual place yup!

Time may need to be a little bit later than the usual. What are the prog options for the afternoon, do you know? (she mumbled indolently): and

Well, my *mother* routinely walks straight past me at the moment, so we could be in for an interesting hook-up, as the blind lady and the looking-for-someone-else-altogether lady circle each other hesitantly outside the ghost of Thorntons...

Perhaps you could bring some kind of clear, easy-to-see identifier. An economy-size bottle of Head and Shoulders, maybe? Wear saggy stained grey y-fronts on your head? A big Fair Isle sweater and a little halo-and-wings combo?

Slashy? With Russell "resolutely hetero Alpha Male" Crowe, and...

uh,

oh yeah - Paul "Of course I'll flash my arse cheeks at the camera and grope Alan Tudyk! It's *art*, luvvie" Bettany?

OK. Fair cop, mate!

So who's playing Roger the Cabin Boy?

A nice shot of frozen vodka will help the cough and voice situation! :)

And there's a cabin boy?!?!?! Oh the mind boggles...
:P

Feel better soon!

The screen times are 12:35pm, 3:25pm, 6:15pm, and 9:05pm.

I have to say though, unless my cough gets significantly better everyone in the cinema will loathe me... so I may have to cry off on the basis I'd be annoying myself as well.

Sorry you're suffering! You know, there is such a thing as channelling Daniel *too* much... hee!

I think I'll plan on heading out to catch it tomorrow come what may. Maybe you could see how you feel when you wake up tomorrow and mail me, does that sound sensible?

Yeah, sounds like a plan. If I'm coughing like I was a little while ago, I'll be lucky if I get out of the cinema without an icepick in my ear...

What kind of time are you planning to leave home? Or maybe just pick a screentime (those are for the Odeon in New Street), and if I don't meet you outside 30 mins before showtime, assume I'm not coming?

Good plan. Odeon New Street at 3.00pm. If I get too hungover to move tonight, I'll let you know and you can keep nursing yourself with the iced vodka shots cure!

You may have left home already, but if not, then don't bother waiting for me, since I'm still coughing like my lungs want to get out (cough medicine or not).

Hope you enjoy the movie! *sigh*
