Yep. But then there's a test match being played and we're in the run up to Wimbledon so ...

We had torrential rain in Hackney - about 10mm cover over the whole of the road in the shopping centre for about 15 mins or so. Seeing a street become a stream, albeit a shallow one, has a definite 'wow' factor for me.

One of my best online friends is from Leeds, so I always have her weather on my home page along with my own, and when I was living in Kodiak, Alaska, her weather was very, very similar to the weather there, which most people in the U.S. would consider...er...not good weather. * I feel for you. *g*
