Personally the less the better. If none at all then I'm ecstatic.
One persons decoration is another persons nightmare of kitchy and frankly most holiday season decorations are kitchy ;-)
I do not decorate at the office and the only thing I put up at home, during the holidays, is a winter solstice themed wreath (with no lights) on my front door. I don't put up lights as they use power for nothing and help produce even more greenhouse gases and pollution.
