Ah, good -- I'm always suspicious when someone competent is asked to assume a position "temporarily," as US firms are notorious for simply eliminating positions and piling the workload on the remaining victims employees. (My mother has been carrying the workload formerly divided between 3 individuals for going on four years now. This was supposed to be a temporary situation. Shyeah, right.)
I wasn't too worried, really, although I did think it would be amusing to watch someone try to force you to do something you don't want to do. Hours of entertainment right there. ;)
