I get my amusement where I can...

I think I'd mentioned I'm teaching a bunch of teenagers Business and Customer Service, which means they have to complete a portfolio of evidence for each course (though thankfully not for the Maths or English, that's still exam-based). Which is immensely entertaining when you discover one of them has written about security and safety for companies basically saying the best way to ensure this is to a) let nobody in the building, so you have no risk of theft, and b) have no customers, because all they do is complain and have accidents.

I have to give an honourable mention to the Spider-Man fanboy in the group who was not impressed when I pointed out I was reading his favourite comic about 15 years before he was born. However, this is also the lad who stated with a completely straight face that Dumb and Dumber was 'one of the greatest movies ever made'. Yep, move over Citizen Kane and Seven Samurai. ;)

In other, sadly also work-related, news - I have an interview for a job with the folks I was volunteering with. D'you think it's a positive sign when they rearrange the interviews to accommodate me and then the person who's going to be interviewing me starts giving me pointers about how to make sure I pass the presentation part?
