Aug. 14th, 2007 08:53 pmFor anyone who's interested, Blood Ties (a television series based on the books by Tanya Huff) gets its UK premiere this Thursday, 8pm on Living - it's a good show for playing 'spot the Canadian actor' and there's also an episode where the cute guy playing Henry Fitzroy gets tortured, chained up and has most of his clothes ripped off. What more could anyone want from a show? ;)
In other news, I continue to be entertained at work by the fact that we've just hired a new solicitor but I seem to have more of an idea of what's going on with some of his cases than he does. I have to say J. seems like a nice guy, though, and I hope he sticks around for a bit since he's also quite entertaining (and that's always good, imo).
Last but not least, how cool is it when you find someone you like starts writing one of your favourite fandoms/pairings? First it was
miriam_heddy (though I think I'd still prefer more Charlie/Larry if I had my druthers) and now it's Josephine Darcy, formerly of The Sentinel who's been led astray into Snape slash! Woohoo! The downside is it's a wip, but it's currently over 230,000 words so I'll struggle with my frustration. Now all I need is
musigneus to abandon that whole SG:A business and I'll be set!
