Since I was in the US for a couple of season finales (
Heroes, Numb3rs and
Blood Ties), though there were equally ones where I'd missed an episode beforehand and couldn't (
Boston Legal and
Veronica Mars), I thought I'd watch the former live on US television. I'd forgotten just how aggravating US television could be, since it felt like we were breaking for commercials every two minutes or so. How is this supposed to discourage people from the evil downloading behaviour? ;)
( Spoilers for Heroes )( Spoilers for Numb3rs )Meanwhile, I'm not sure I understand the logic behind the proposal that's being made for some kind of uber-archive in reaction to the whole FanLib shenanigans. Considering the size of certain fandoms online to start with, aren't we like about 6 or 7 years too late for that kind of thing?
Oh, I also love the way that the moment anyone mentions fic on Livejournal, there's bound to be at least one person telling everyone else how LJ is bad and wrong for fic because they can't find anything on it. Uh huh. Thanks for sharing.
