graculus: (Charlie - WTF?)
Dear arsehole agency worker,

It was not immediately apparent to me at the start of our conversation that your request for the format we use for a particular task but no discussion was actually shorthand for 'I know everything about everything, even though I've only been working here a couple of weeks, so leave me alone'. However, when you then told me that if you wanted my advice, you'd ask for it and then informed me that you knew exactly what you were doing (even though the previous comments you've made gave me no confidence whatsoever that you're even in the same county as knowing what to do) I started to understand.

Getting up and walking out of the room when I told you that I don't have to be asked for advice because, in fact, it's my job to make sure people are told what to do whether they ask for advice or not, is not a profitable way to respond. It is, however, categorical proof that you, sir, are an asshat of the first order.

Never any love ever,
Me

It's amazing really, that I've had two similar run-ins with the same agency worker twice now in a matter of weeks and this is the only problems I've ever had in well over 18 months with anyone. The first, I blew off despite the faux apology that followed his getting told off by his manager(oh, I come across as being abrupt sometimes and people interpret that as rude), but this? Nope. Someone needs to get over himself and fast, otherwise he'll find himself seeking alternative employment, since his manager likes me a hell of a lot better than she likes him. ;)
