Feb. 9th, 2007 06:37 pmI should have guessed when it actually took me less time than usual to get to work this morning despite the BBC apparently predicting another Ice Age, that I would pay for it at some point. Which I did driving home tonight, since it took me pretty much twice as long as usual even though I left half an hour early because I saw it was starting to snow heavier.
Thank heavens the next few days I can hide away in my little house, take the ferrets out into the snow when it eventually stops (and yes, there will be pictures!) and then I've only got to go to Birmingham by train on Monday. Hopefully normal February weather will have arrived by early next week and we won't have to put up with this nonsense again. And the Canadians reading this can stop laughing any time now... ;)
In the meantime, this is one of the few times I've gone 'thank god it's Friday' after it seems I've bumped into the most obtuse people on the planet, who don't seem to think that getting paperwork ready to submit to a court of law is all that important. Grrrr.
