Aug. 5th, 2006 10:48 amThe people who live directly across from me (with my garden between them) seem to have lost some kind of parrot and it's currently sitting in one of my trees.
However, I'm sure the 'help' of my neighbour's small child going "hello, hello" at it continuously for the past 30 minutes hasn't helped at all in encouraging it to come down. ;)
E.T.A. Two hours later and the bird (which appears to be a green parrot) is still up there. I was even asked if I could send one of the ferrets up the tree. No, if ferrets could climb they would rule the world, even if everything would probably be stuffed behind one huge sofa...
E.T.A. redux When I went out into the garden again at about 2pm there was no sign of either owner or bird, so I'm assuming it relented...
