(no subject)
Aug. 25th, 2005 09:40 pmFor some reason, my wireless router seems to have decided to get a case of the hiccups in the last couple of days. After working perfectly for months, it keeps dropping my connection suddenly for no apparent reason, so if I'm in chat or something and suddenly disappear, it wasn't something you said! (Or at least that's going to be my excuse...)
Oh, and after a couple of weeks of wasp infestation (and no, I'm still no nearer knowing where they're coming from!), one of the little blighters stung me today. Grrrr. Fortunately, unlike my mother, I'm not allergic so it just caused a lot of swearing and a bit of itching rather than anaphylactic shock.
In other news, Dougal is off to the vets tomorrow to have the lump on his tail removed, so positive thoughts are very welcome. I hate the thing they make you do where you sign to say you won't sue them if something bad happens and am not looking forward to that at all. All four of them are currently being starved, so at least Dougal isn't in solitary till when he gets back from the vets tomorrow - it was much easier than separating him now *and* starving him. I expect he'll feel sorry enough for himself at that point not to bother about being on his own for a bit.
*eyes the pile of half-written fic that's currently on her desk*
