We had the lunchtime leaving do get-together today, with presents and such - I've been so focussed on finishing on Friday that I totally fell for the 'emergency team meeting' story and then didn't even click when one of my colleagues started making excuses why I shouldn't go out to get lunch.

One of the presents was a very nice green briefcase with cream piping. I didn't have the heart to tell them all I'd already bought myself a new briefcase last week. ;) Still, mine is black so at least now I have a choice, which is good considering my current bag is starting to fall apart.

Lots of nice words said, which is always good, if a tad embarrassing. :)
