Sainsburys gets it right...

Yes, the way to a woman's heart is with free chocolate.

Not content with giving me a free box of chocolates at Christmas (and very nice they were too), this morning I received a voucher from Sainsburys for one of those large gold-wrapped Lindt chocolate rabbits. Mmmmm. :)

More on the detritus situation...

Yep, still opening boxes I've not looked at for years.

It's a real mixed bag, an odd bunch of things that bring back a variety of emotions. Photos of people I've long since lost touch with, pictures of a variety of now-deceased pets, my previous passport complete with Russian and Polish stamps and football programmes from back when Wolves had a half-decent team (that was the early 1990's, in case anyone was wondering!). There are also photos from my various trips, which I probably ought to get around to scanning and inflicting on sharing with everyone...

Something unexpected too: a copy of Volume 1 Number 1 of Starburst magazine. That's from January 1978, with a colour wrap-around cover featuring Star Wars, back from 8 years before the current publishing company (of whom the less said the better) took over that publication. I think I originally stole it off my brother, back when I was still raiding his bedroom for whatever he was trying to hide from me. Usually porn, but alas not the fun hot man-on-man action kind. ;)
