Stop looking for the 'any' key...
Dec. 11th, 2004 02:10 pmOkay, maybe it's unkind to say my colleague from work is too dumb to own a computer - perhaps it would be more accurate to say that it's just something she's not all that interested in (in comparison to her apparent cookery book buying obsession, of which the less said the better).
This is why I'm writing this entry just prior to going over to her house to sort her computer out, after her confession that she doesn't have either anti-virus software or a firewall installed and has no idea whatsoever about anything to do with adware or such like. I fully expect to discover that she's never updated the software since she got the computer and that it's fully clogged with all kinds of horrors in terms of data trackers and spyware.
So, I'm off to make sure her computer is updated, install AVG, Zonealarm and Adaware, then leave her copious instructions on how to use the above-named programs. Why? Because she's promised me cake, that's why! :)
