Dec. 14th, 2003 12:32 pm1. How many and which of your fandoms do you own on DVD?
So far, I have the first season of Nero Wolfe on dvd, but other than that I only have the Stargate movie and one SG dvd (signed by the Shanks!) that I won at a con.
2. If you had tapes, did you toss them when you got the DVDs?
I didn't have tapes of Nero Wolfe, since until recently only a few things had ever been shown over here. Even if I do end up replacing stuff with dvd I'll try first to find stuff a good home rather than just tossing it, since I worked hard to get some of this stuff. In fact, in some cases I think I'd feel more secure knowing I have the tapes in a box in the attic... ;)
3. What are your favorite extras (commentary tracks, behind-the-scenes featurettes, bloopers, foreign language dub, interviews with cast, etc.)? Generally and specifically.
It's not a major selling point for me, but I like any kind of extras that are going. Episode commentaries can be interesting, but can also be incredibly annoying. Interviews likewise.
4. What do you view first: the episodes, commentary, extras?
Episodes.
5. What fandoms on DVD do you not yet own or are not out yet?
Man from UNCLE
Wild Wild West
Magnificent Seven
Real Ghostbusters
