1) What is the movie that scared you the most? (Notice I didn’t say the scariest movie.) Does it scare you still?

I remember being scared shitless aged about 8 by seeing the original Nosferatu - it was weeks before my mother could persuade me to use the upstairs toilet because the window was *behind* the toilet... ;)

As a student I got freaked by The Hitcher, the Rutger Hauer movie. To the point of getting up and walking out of the room when my friends were watching it because I couldn't stand it any more. Now I just tend to avoid gratuitous gore-fest movies because I'm more sensible!

2) What is the tv show or episode that scared you the most? Does it scare you still?

A certain episode of Sapphire and Steel (the one with the WWI soldier at the railway station, for anyone who knows the series) really put the wind up me when I was younger. Obviously I was a very nervous child, mostly because I have a very good imagination!

3) Do you watch horror movies/tv shows or avoid them? Why?

Quite frankly, I really don't see the point of movies where horror for horror's sake is the plot. I'd rather have bad things happen to people as part of an actual storyline, not just for the sake of it. Saying that I'm not particularly into movies that are full of gratuitous sex either.

4) What is the best “Very Special Halloween” episode of all time? Why?

The episode of Buffy where Anya is dressed as a giant rabbit, complete with Giles and the chainsaw he pulls from his Tardis-like bag.

5) You have an unlimited budget and the best costumers and makeup people from Hollywood to help you, who or what do you dress as for Halloween?

*thinks* One of the Ghostbusters, complete with working proton pack! ;) I'm not really one for dressing up, but I'd happily settle for a proper quidditch outfit (Slytherin, of course!).

Note to people who deliver Yellow Pages: the 'waterproof' wrapper is not quite as waterproof as you obviously think it is. Leaving said Yellow Pages lying down in my back garden in October has resulted in my being the proud owner of a couple of pounds of yellow pulp.

In other news, I have finished the edits on my WWW story. This is good.

Next weekend's task is to get my first assignment done, since it's due in a couple of days after [livejournal.com profile] blktauna is coming to visit me and I don't want to be burdened with the thought of impending deadlines then. 1,700 words done, another 3,300 to go. :)
