And now the obligatory ferret bowel movement post...
Well, at least it's looking more like poo now, compared to the black sludge that she was producing at the beginning of the week. I've been dosing her up with Panacur all week and also I've been pleased to see she's actually eating, though the yesterday and today I've been feeding her cat food mixed with the bulking agent the vet gave me in the hope this will produce an end result that's more like normal.
So, I expect we'll be having another trip to the vets at some point in the near future, but things are nothing like the emergency things were last weekend. Lily is also getting to go in with the boys at night now, because that's much warmer than being on her own and she doesn't seem quite so frail, but other than that she's sleeping about 23 hours a day at the moment.
I'm realistic about all of this, though, since I know that she's something of an old lady but I hope when things do go downhill for her finally that it's much less painful for her than all of this was.
Once again, thanks to everyone for the good vibes and encouraging words when I was freaking out! ;)
