graculusYes, it's really happening - Daniel is back with the team and all's right with the world! I'm only going to talk in general terms about how things are going, hence the lack of cut-tags...
Having watched the first 4 episodes on squintyvision I can't wait for September to roll around so I can see them on a big screen.
I don't know if it's just me, but the writers seem to have upped their game just a little this season (well, apart from the obligatory 'hey, we're running short this week so let's make the characters run down some dark corridors to fill' moments which we still can't quite get away from). There are some heavy-handed moments in Homecoming, but the fact that Daniel's back and the team is back mean I can grit my teeth and deal with those.
It's been great to see Teal'c getting to do more in those four episodes (and particularly in Orpheus) than he did in pretty much the whole of season 5, so long may that continue!
And the chemistry! Wowser. Back in spades. :)
