and I watched Rome for the finale... well as much as I could stand... I don't think I got 15 min in... ooo crap. I watched Up Pompeii instead. That was supposed to be bad ;)
And I'm not sharing the Purefoy love... More for you! But I thiught of you last night while watching Hawaiian Eye.
It really is. There've been sadly few movies in recent years which have lived up to my expectations and Kung Fu Hustle (and Shaolin Soccer which I also love to bits) was one of them. From the moment the guy is doing the shimmy across to shoot the other gangster right at the beginning, I was totally hooked.
Awww, you missed Caesar getting it - there was so much blood it was like watching a John Woo movie without the bullets. ;)
And you keep saying this about thinking of me while you're perving over RC in his ultra-tight swimmies, but I have no idea what you mean... *looks innocent*
Well, Shaolin Soccer (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0286112/) pretty much goes without saying, while I really like Curry and Pepper (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0099629/) and From Beijing With Love (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0109962/).
He's also done quite a few historical movies, as well as two where he plays the mythical Monkey King (in one of which he gets to wear a very fetching paper loincloth, a paper bowtie and nothing else, which is quite amusing).
