Am woken at 6.45am by sound of the dog from over the road barking and running in and out of the traffic, curse repeatedly at the idiocy of its owner and get up, only to discover when I go downstairs that stupid Remus has managed to pull an escapologist act and get out of the hutch. I can only assume it was sometime in the early hours since the others are all in there and haven't followed him in his bid for freedom.
*sigh* No sign of him so far, though I've been round the block about thirty times. Am currently printing notices to put up.
Was asked by woman who lives nearby, who promised to keep an eye out for Houdini, if I was going to work today. Not a chance.
E.T.A. - 2.50pm and there's still no sign of the little ginger shitbag. This is not looking good... :(
E.T.A. - 7.20pm and ditto. Just been out and enlisted the neighbourhood kids, in case they spot him, having already leafletted the surrounding houses. Damn it all. And I was supposed to be going to the leaving do for my former boss tonight. Nope, not happening. Priorities and all that.
