First day, woo! :P

graculusFirst day in my new job and at least I think I've now completed all the paperwork that will ensure I get paid at the end of the month. I hope. There may be a dozen more forms I should have filled in, only time will tell.
And it appears I'm moving offices. The problem being that the head of the section I was supposed to be with is still off work and therefore they don't want me sitting there twiddling my thumbs, much like I was doing today. Frankly, I'm almost relieved, though at the moment I feel a little like I've been in a big game of pass the parcel and when the music stopped the lucky person left with me got the pleasure of my company.
Still, I have a good few ideas I want to chew over - at present it doesn't really look like they're expecting me to be all that productive any time this month so I shall astound them all and see what that gets me. A trip back to the city centre office of today, I hope, since from tomorrow I'm going to be a little further away, which development doesn't please me that much...
